    PG&E has restored power to all affected Sausalito neighborhoods after a Public Safety Power Shutoff that began in the early morning of Wednesday, October 9.

  • Extra Garbage Pickup Scheduled for Week of October 21

    Sausalito's garbage services provider, Bay Cities Refuse, has announced that its Fall Cleanup will be held the week of October 21 through 25. On your usual garbage collection day that week, Bay Cities will collect up to one additional cubic yard of refuse.

  • Evening and Overnight Closures to Alexander Avenue On-Ramp at Northbound Highway 101

    Caltrans has announced that it will close the on-ramp from Alexander Avenue to northbound Highway 101 between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. from Monday, October 21 until Friday, October 27.

  • Tracy Way Reopens to Traffic on October 14

    The City of Sausalito will reopen Tracy Way to vehicular traffic on Monday, October 14. The street has been closed since March 18 to serve as a seasonal bicycle parking lot.

  • Mudflow Debris Removal Underway

    On September 30, City contractor Resource Environmental began collecting, loading, and hauling away debris from the site of the mudflow that struck the Hurricane Gulch neighborhood in February 2019. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Help Plant Trees at MLK Park on Saturday, October 12

    Volunteers are needed for the first phase of tree planting at MLK Park from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12. At this special event sponsored by the City of Sausalito and Sausalito Beautiful, more than 100 trees and shrubs will be planted around the perimeter of the MLK Athletic Field.
