    On May 1, President Trump approved a major disaster declaration for the severe winter storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that hit the state of California between February 13 and 15, 2019. The mudslide in Sausalito's Hurricane Gulch neighborhood on February 14 is covered by the declaration.

  • Update on North Street Steps

    The removal of mudslide debris from the North Street Steps was completed on Wednesday, April 24. However, the steps will remain closed until the City is able to confirm the stability of the remaining slope and the safety of the steps that were under the debris pile.
