Public Safety

Public safety in Sausalito is primarily the responsibility of the Sausalito Police Department and the Southern Marin Fire Protection District. The headquarters of the Sausalito Police Department is located at 29 Caledonia Street. Fire Station 1 of the Southern Marin Fire Protection District is across the street at 333 Johnson Street. 

Always call 9-1-1 for any situation that requires immediate assistance from the police, fire department, or an ambulance.
