City of Sausalito to Host Virtual City Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 31 at 7pm
The City of Sausalito has chosen and tested the Zoom video conferencing platform. At the meeting, the City Council will consider the local response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
A Message from City Manager Adam Politzer
I have been deeply impressed by the efforts of Sausalito residents to take care of each other, to stay safe by practicing social distancing, and to support local businesses that provide essential services.
Staying Healthy at Fire Station One
Keeping firefighters and paramedics healthy is essential during the COVID-19 crisis. To reduce the likelihood of first responders becoming infected and unable to work, the Southern Marin Fire Protection District has implemented rigorous hygiene and social distancing protocols at our fire station.
Support Local Businesses and Restaurants
Businesses providing essential services like groceries, pharmacies, and hardware stores remain open during the public health order to shelter at home. Restaurants are also considered essential businesses, but are restricted to offering take-out or delivery service.
Stay Local for Fresh Air and Sunshine
Although parking lots at county parks and the Golden Gate National Recreation Area have been closed, there are many local options for Sausalitans to explore.
Video Chat with Family and Friends
Video chats are a great way for us to stay connected to friends and loved ones while we shelter at home during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Lend a Hand During the COVID-19 Crisis
Everyone can lend a hand to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 crisis, from checking in with vulnerable neighbors, to volunteering with the SF-Marin Food Bank, to donating money to the Marin Community Foundation COVID-19 relief fund.
