The City Council will hold a special forum at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7 to begin a community discussion about ways that Sausalito can promote racial justice and work to overcome the toxic legacy of racism. The event will be held virtually on Zoom and broadcast live on the City website.

At approximately 4:05 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, the Sausalito Police Department received an alert from its license plate recognition cameras of a stolen vehicle entering Sausalito from the 4000 block of Bridgeway. The vehicle, a 2019 Audi, had been stolen from San Jose on June 9.
Update on Business Reopenings in Marin County
Since early May, Marin County Public Health has been gradually relaxing Marin's shelter-in-place order. That process received its first setback on Friday, June 26, when the county decided to postpone the reopening of some of the business sectors that had been scheduled to resume on June 29.
Temporary On-Street Dining Begins on Caledonia Street
The high winds that have been buffeting Sausalito finally died down just enough for temporary on-street dining to begin along Caledonia Street's "restaurant row" at lunchtime on Friday, July 3. The regular schedule will be dinner on Thursdays and lunch and dinner on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
